This paddling tour starts and ends at the same location, our rental in Surahammar at Stationsvägen 2. Unlock your canoe and retrieve the canoe trolley, paddles, and life jackets from the container with our logo behind the house, then walk down to the water below the last lock.
During the paddling trip, you can take a lap on the “Östersjön” and then continue on a mix of meandering natural rivers and 225-year-old hand-dug canal locks. There are several nice resting spots along the paddling tour, including a sandy beach right after you pass “Östersjön”, as well as a lean-on shelter with a fireplace and dry toilet on the island just before “Ålsätra” lock. When you are satisfied with the paddling tour, simply paddle back the canoe and return all the equipment where you found it, and lock the canoe again.

The Canadian canoe is an open boat with 2 seats. This boat is easy to pack and can be paddled with a single paddle. It is great for smaller lakes and river trips. The Canadian canoe has a total maximum weight capacity of 250kg, with a maximum of 200kg for human weight. In our canoes, we take a maximum of 2 adults per boat.
